The fashion industry is tough, being black is tough, try being a black designers. Your friends will buy gucci but ask you for a discount if they buy at all, and yes people have a right to buy whatever they need to be secure, imagine if our community had the confidence to support our own? . When you look at the current state of the world and how black , brown , and latino people are treated we need to start looking within our own communities and circulating our wealth among us. Im not saying stop buying brands, focus more on what you love and be less caught up in the status of a European name. The brands know our power and more and more they are appointing black creative directors, but in the end none of the money we spend goes back into our communities! With that said if i make something you like i assure you the quality holds the highest standard. or greater than the competition
